Ben Berry - Web Design

Ben has been involved in creating websites from a very young age, originally self-taught from the age of 15, Ben went on to study Graphic Design at the University of Westminster in order to hone his visual design skills further. Recently graduated, Ben has spent his time well, creating websites for university bands & societies, creating custom myspace profiles as well as carrying out work for private clients ranging from social networking to dynamic portfolios for varying artists. Ben is fully proficient in both HTML & CSS, and has extensive experience using industry standard programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Flash & Dreamweaver.

"Its great that young people have access to this kind of tuition at such a young age, even during my time at university never were we taught software skills such as these. These are the programs that young designers are expected to have a high level of proficiency with in order to progress into a career in the industry, which makes sessions such as these incredibly valuable for young people."

Eric Lau - Music Production

The love of manipulating sound into a soulful manner is what Eric Lau's production is about. Influenced by many artists such as Jay Dee, Pete Rock, D'angelo, ?uestlove, James Poyser, Roy Ayers, Shuggie Otis and many more, he carries on the trend with his own style. Using a blend of samples and instrumentation his music spans across a variety of different genres. Nominated for 'track of the year' by Gilles Peterson's BBC Worldwide Show in 2006 and nominated for 'Best up & coming artist' by Dazed & Confused Magazine. Eric Lau signed to Ubiquity Records in 2007 with debut album 'New Territories', coming out March 2008.

Leon Thompson - Photography

Photographer/Tutor Leon Thompson, presents his talents with a diverse body of Portraiture, Publicity, Music, Lifestyle. His genuine interest in people from diverse backgrounds and contrasting lifestyles has been the environment that has shaped his work. Past clients include; Untold, Living TV, Bravo, MacFarlane & Chard, NVA entertainment and various street projects.

Michael McHugh - Film

Michael is a director who has worked in television for the Discovery channel and the BBC. He has recently completed a short drama which has been submitted to the Sundance Film Festival. Michael believes that unlocking the potential in young people is the key to way teaching them. 'Young people can constantly surprise us with their determination and creativity'. His interests are theatre directing and photography.
